I’m excited to announce I designed a new photo book to showcase some of my favorite photos from the past quarter. In addition to the electronic version you can “flip through” here, I’m also printing out a hard copy, in grand 10 x 8 full-color, full-bleed splendor, for folks to peruse during client visits.
To flip through the pages of the book below, just click on the arrow to the right or left of each page displayed. Click anywhere on the page to zoom in. To zoom out, I believe you’d just need to hit your Escape key. Feel free to share with friends! (Please note: this is a low-quality preview.)I hope everyone had a delightful Thanksgiving!
Here are some photo samples as I promised from my photo shoot with Sean, the sweet little 4-year-old, and from my shoot with Wild Thymes Pattern Co. See the previous post for more info.
And now, for the photos!
He had a blast on the swing set!
Such a smiley guy!
The overcast day created some beautiful, even light.
Seriously, what a cutie!
Ok, I love, love, love, LOVE this photo! You can just feel the joy!
He was a speedy guy on his scooter!
He didn’t like the camera at all as evidenced by this little gem of a pose.
Showing me his sunglasses.
And now for some of the shots from the Wild Thymes shoot:
Some detailed stitch work on one of Barb’s block of the month quilts.
This past weekend I jetted (er, wait – drove) over to Bozeman to photograph some patterns, quilts and designs for Barb of Wild Thymes Pattern Co. which was really enjoyable. Barb has created some gorgeous pieces – anywhere from massive wool quilts (featuring wool she’s hand-dyed herself) all the way to cute wool pincushions.
As a person who greatly appreciates anything made by hand (I’m a big time knitter when I’ve got the time), it’s just so satisfying to photograph exquisitely hand-crafted items bursting with color.
The photos will be featured in pattern designs and eventually books that Barb’s currently putting together. And I’ll get samples up on this blog and in the product portion of my web site soon.
I also had such a great time photographing Sean, a lively little four-year-old who was certainly nowhere close to camera shy! This little guy was happy to show me his skills on the swing set and scooter. And I’ve got to say – what a complete pleasure to laugh and have fun with Sean and his family. It’s so refreshing to be around such pure joy and wonderment of a young child. I can’t wait to post a few pics from our session on Saturday.
