Nicole and Jason’s wedding at her brother’s Ninemile Ranch could not have been more stunning. Not only did they get married in a jaw-droppingly beautiful location, the weather was perfect, too. Beautiful blue skies, white fluffy clouds, a warm wind, and a divinely glowing sunset.

Everything was planned so well – the whole family took part in making sure every last detail was perfect.  From the beautiful programs, to the vibrant flowers, to the dancing – it was just all so, so wonderful.

I’m usually pretty good about keeping my emotions in check during weddings, but there were several moments during this wedding that made me go all misty-eyed.  When Nicole’s father got choked up during his toast (and when she subsequently got choked up.)  And when Jason and his mother were finishing their  mother-son dance…as best as I could tell he whispered to his mother, “I love you mom.”  Seriously…so sweet…I hope no one saw my glistening eyes.

But…I’ll stop with the words and get on to the photos.  I know there are a ton, but I couldn’t help myself – these images were too beautiful not to share!  I’ve listed vendor information at the end of this post, too, in case you’re interested.

This past weekend I had the honor of documenting Tim and Austin’s beautiful, heartfelt wedding at Lubrecht Experimental Forest. Such a loving, happy couple – it was an absolute pleasure to be there photographing all their special moments throughout the day.

During their ceremony thunder rolled and rain threatened, but it held off until the reception, and even then it only sprinkled. One bonus of the grumpy weather was some really beautiful clouds. (Check out the photos below – the clouds made a heart shape!)

All the guests and family were delightful – everyone was having a great time and laughter was abundant. But I’ll stop talking about it – you’ll see it in the photos!

Congratulations again, Tim and Austin! I wish you both the very best in your lives together as husband and wife!

Tim and Austin each wrote their own vows. And they were wonderful, absolutely wonderful.

A heart broke through the clouds for Tim and Austin, and the ladies decided Tim needed a "pick me up."

A groomsman tried his hand at swing dancing, and toasts were given that made everyone laugh. (Austin was laughing even though she was hiding her face. :) )

Up next – fun family and couples portrait sessions, as well as Nicole and Jason’s wedding this weekend.  It’s going to be so much fun – I can’t wait for their day!

Cheers,

-Kristine

The sun FINALLY decided to show its beautiful self this past weekend for Dan and Megan’s anniversary session, and what a session it was! Dan and Megan are both such nice people – we had a great time traipsing about in the beautiful light and recreating some scenes from their wedding day three years ago.

The mosquitoes were in full force because of all this rain, but Dan and Megan didn’t let those little buggers get to them. (As I said, “They’re souvenirs, right?”)

Thanks again, Dan and Megan! I look forward to photographing for you again! :)

On the docket – Tim and Austin’s wedding this coming weekend. I’m really excited for it – they’re both such nice, down-to-earth people and I just know it’s going to be a great day!

Cheers,

I love my work. Love, love, LOVE it.  Today I had the pleasure of photographing a wonderful baby/sister/maternity session in Ronan, Montana – and the weather even decided to cooperate!  Janelle and Brooke were visiting family in Ronan and wanted to have a sister session since Brooke has an adorable little 5-month-old daughter, and Janelle is 7 months pregnant.

Our session was so much fun! Madison, Brooke’s daughter, had just learned how to stick out her tongue, so she was keeping us all laughing and smiling. Janelle, a radiant mother-to-be, was gorgeous – and Brooke, a proud mama of her beautiful little girl, was all smiles and sweetness.

Here are just a few of my favorite shots from the session (trust me – it was hard to choose just a few!).  Thanks again, Janelle, Brooke and Madison – you are all wonderful ladies!

Remember a while back when I had a contest going where all you had to do was tell me your favorite place to take photos and you’d be entered to win a free photo session?  Katie was the lucky winner and she had me make some nice portraits of her after her graduation from the University of Montana’s school of law.  It was a gorgeous day – a bit windy and maybe slightly chilly – but it was much better than rain which was what had been predicted.

Here are my favorite photos – congratulations, Katie!

I can’t resist! I have to share more of my favorite photos from Neli and Vern’s wedding. See the first set by referring to my previous blog post. They are just the sweetest of sweet couples.

And now – the photos!
