Maddy and I did a little shoot for her portfolio with RMEA before she’s about to launch off and start working with Ford models. And may I say – Maddy just rocked it! And the wind, even though it was at times a bit blustery, was definitely on our side for these photos. What a gorgeous girl and so much fun to photograph! Way to be, Maddy! And good luck with Ford! :)

I’m just going to come out and say it. The Morrison family is cool. As in – they are downright AWESOME. We had such a great time during their family session – laughing, walking all over the place and just really enjoying ourselves. The girls are about to jet off to the other side of the country to pursue school at Harvard and also in New Hampshire, so they decided to get some nice family photos of all of them. Hopefully these photos make them all feel a little bit closer in spirit. :)
Thanks again, guys! It was SO great to meet you and make these images for you – here’s to some great adventures in your future, both in Montana and on the east coast!

Dalton and Eleisha – where do I even begin with these two wonderful souls? We’ve been having a blast since we first met – their engagement session in the snow seems like just yesterday!
Zip ahead to August and these two tied the knot at the Lumberjack Saloon in Lolo, Montana. The day was splendid – bright blue skies, gorgeous sun to act as a spotlight on all the festivities, and so many happy, smiling faces.
Dalton and Eleisha were both glowing – Eleisha looked like a princess in her beautiful gown, and Dalton was dapper in his suit. Laughter was a staple of the day, as was great dancing – guests showed off their best moves on the dance floor in the evening light, and everyone laughed and smiled as they celebrated Dalton and Eleisha pledging their love to one another.
Thank you so much, you two, for inviting me to document such an incredibly special and beautiful day in your lives – I absolutely loved every second and, from the bottom of my heart, wish you years and years of happiness, love and lots of laughter. :) Congratulations again!

Rock the dress sessions – I seriously can’t get enough of them, especially when they’re as fun as Sarah and Jeff’s! I met up with them at Sarah’s family’s cabin on Placid Lake in Seeley Lake, and we had a blast traipsing about the area making some gorgeous day-after images of these two newlyweds. Placid Lake is especially important to both Sarah and Jeff because Jeff actually proposed in a kayak not too far from the family cabin. We even got a photo of them with the kayak!

It was one hot day when I met up with Nathan in Seeley Lake to make his senior photos, but he braved the heat and we had a blast making some images at his family’s cabin on the creek, one of his favorite places. Nathan is a Class of 2013 senior at Bozeman High School, and is such a nice young man with a great smile and light in his eyes. He’s got grand plans for college and in the meantime likes to learn about CAD, spend time with friends, volunteer at camp, and enjoy time with his dog, who made a cameo appearance in his photos.
Nathan, it was so wonderful to meet you and your family, and make these photos to celebrate your senior year – congrats again on your upcoming graduation! You’re going to go far, I can just tell! :)

Montana brought out all its loveliness for Sarah and Jeff’s wedding at the Double Arrow Resort – blue skies, brilliant sun, and even a nice little breeze made the day just perfect for these two.
Sarah and Jeff very sweetly gave each other beautiful and thoughtful gifts before their ceremony, each delivered to one another by their respective maid of honor and best man.
Guests signed a paddle for Sarah and Jeff and the rings were carried on a mini wooden canoe – both of great significance to Sarah and Jeff, because Jeff actually proposed to Sarah while kayaking together on Placid Lake.
These two couldn’t stop smiling at each other at the alter as friends and family looked on, and as Jeff’s uncle officiated their ceremony. Friends and family cheered for the newly married couple as they walked down the aisle, and hugs, kisses and tears of happiness flowed freely.
Guests dined on scrumptious appetizers while soaking up the golden evening light, and the bridal party was treated to Dom Perignon champagne, courtesy of groomsman, Jeremy. Kiddos had a blast playing with glowsticks while adults danced under twinkling lights.
Sarah and Jeff – what a beautiful day! Thank you so much for having me photograph such an important event in your lives! It was such a pleasure – you two are just so sweet – and I had a blast! Thank you again! Here’s to a lifetime of happiness for you both! :)

It was a bright, sunshiny day when I met up with these three families to make some reunion portraits of them all together, enjoying Montana at Paws Up Resort.
The boys were adorable in their blazers, and had a great time showing me butterflies they had caught, and demonstrating their best jumping moves. And all hands came together amongst tree rings to highlight the multiple generations – from little hands to bigger hands.
Thank you again for having me document a little slice of life during your time in Montana – it was so wonderful to meet you all, and I hope you all had safe trips home!

It’s kind of hard to believe that August is already here after photographing Kim and Randy’s engagement session way back in February – how time flies!
Fast forward to August, the warmth of the summer sun, and long, languid evenings and you’ve got yourself a perfect recipe for an absolutely stunning wedding day. Kim and Randy tailored their day to really showcase their love for Montana, and classy western style. Kim even made her grand entrance to the ceremony by riding side-saddle on her mother-in-law’s horse!
Guests sipped on lemonade as Kim and Randy vowed their love to one another under the big sky. The two ceremonially braided ropes together to signify their intertwined lives.
Children played in the sun, taking turns rolling down the soft hillsides of Rye Creek Lodge, as their parents enjoyed appetizers and cocktails before dinner. Friends and family were summoned to dinner by a dinner bell, and everyone enjoyed the delicious food and stunningly beautiful atmosphere.
Not long after, everyone kicked up their heels and danced into the night, every now and then taking a turn at the microphone, singing into the star-studded evening sky.
Kim and Randy – thank you again for inviting me into such a special moment of your lives together! I had such a wonderful time documenting your wedding and meeting your amazing friends and family. Here’s to many, many years together, punctuated by plenty of dancing and roping! :)

It was such a treat to meet up with Sierra, David and their new baby boy, Marshall, to make some newborn photos of their darling little guy. Marshall was such a sweetie, and was extra good for his turn in front of the camera. Even Abe the dog joined in for some photos, though he was a bit camera shy. ;)
