I was so happy to hear from the Lubbers family as they were really excited to get some Missoula family portraits in the spring, and also celebrate the recent second birthday of their littlest one. Sadie was so enthusiastic about their session when she contacted me, so I knew we’d have a great time taking advantage of the lush landscapes we’ve got right now (thanks to all that rain we’ve been getting lately!). Speaking of rain, we were a little nervous we might get a few drops headed our direction, but luckily the weather held out and we were treated to a gorgeous springtime evening in Missoula for their family portraits. As the gray, fluffy clouds shifted throughout the blue sky, the sun peeked in and out from behind them, shining down on us as we meandered through the meadows.
That sunshine had everyone in great spirits, and there was lots of laughter and smiles, and Veronica showed us her highest 2-year-old jumps, the best way to enjoy wildflowers, and had us all giggling at her hilarious new chuckle she invented right on the spot.
Thanks again for a fun session, everyone! It was so nice to meet you all and get to make these images for your entire family – and a happy second birthday again to miss Veronica!
