It was so great to meet up with Jessy the other evening for her senior photos – and I was excited because she told me that 1) she’s a very musical person and wanted to incorporate that into her pictures. And 2) she loves animals, and was going to be bringing along her cat, Fancy, and her dog, Buddy. Music and animals are equally important to me, too, so I knew we’d have a good time making her photos.
We had fun wandering downtown, and I’ve got to give it to her furry friends – they did great! I think Buddy may have thought we were on the strangest walk ever (i.e. “who is this lady with the crazy weird gadgets, and why does she get me all excited to run and only do it for a few seconds each time?”) but we had such a good time, and Buddy was pretty excited to be there, hanging out with his person, Jessy.
We also hit up one of the pianos that’s just hanging out downtown (have you seen those? they’re cool, albeit kinda grimy), and Jessy even brought out her guitar, which is seriously rad. She loves to sing and play, so it was so nice to be able to capture her passion in photos. (Turns out that Buddy likes to “sing” with Jessy, too! Which was just about the best thing ever.)
After she graduates from Big Sky High School, she plans on continuing her love for music by studying it in college. So, Jessy, here’s to you and a great senior year! I am so excited for you to continue your musical education, and I wish you all the best as you pursue your dreams!
On the docket: lots more weddings and portraits! Stay tuned!
Cheers,
-Kristine
