As Cheyanna and I marveled at the glorious autumn day we were treated to for her Missoula Montana autumn senior photos, we couldn’t help but exclaim that Mother Nature was totally on our side that day. Which was particularly fitting for Cheyanna since she absolutely adores being outside and partaking in all sorts of outdoor activities as well (including hunting elk!), and is especially fond of the fall colors we get treated to here.
As we meandered about while making her photos, Cheyanna told me a little bit more about herself. She’s a senior this year at Stevensville High School, and she’s really enjoying her senior year thus far. She told me that she’s taking several AP classes and especially loves the pottery class she’s taking. (A girl after my own heart – I had a blast in my pottery class in high school too!)
We were accompanied by her little sisters and grandmother during her session, and her two sisters did a great job of tagging along and making us all crack up at their cuter-than-cute antics. At one point I dubbed her littlest sister miss Chief-of-Giggles-Gnat-Wrangler-Extraordinare, since not only did she have us laughing, she did a great job of herding a few little clouds of gnats away from us too as we were making photos.
Cheyanna also told me that she’s looking forward to and excited to attend the University of Montana where she’ll start out, and then finish in Bozeman. She’s planning on becoming a veterinarian because she loves animals (and she told me she even has some pygmy goats!).
Cheyanna! Thank you again for such a delightful, joyful session. It was such a treat to get to meet you (and your sisters and grandmother too) and make these images for you. You’ve got such a sweet way about you, and I can tell you’re going to go so far pursuing your dreams! Here’s to a fantastic remainder of your senior year, and an even brighter future for you!
On the Docket:
Portraits and weddings! Stay tuned!
Cheers,
-Kristine
