It is always such a huge treat getting to photograph Kristan and Ben’s family — and this year’s summertime family photos in Missoula allowed me to photograph not only 4-year-old Lincoln, but his little brother (and newest addition to the family), 10-month-old Cormac as well!
I’ve been photographing their family for the past couple years (minus 2020, because pandemic times), and it’s been so much fun watching Lincoln grow! Equally heartwarming (and simultaneously hilarious) was getting to see Lincoln interact with his little brother, too. There were lots of giggles, some toe and arm nibbles (because there was a shark theme going on), and tickles to get everyone laughing.
Missoula’s had such an unusually hot summer, but we managed to beat the heat by shooting early in the morning (it was supposed to be a high of 102º that day! egads!), and I’m so glad we did because things heated up very quickly, even at 8:30 am.
Lincoln had a great time zipping around the University of Montana on his bike, and Cormac loved checking out the colorful flowers around campus. And of course, the classic “flying through the sky” moves were ultra popular with the boys, too.
Kristan, Ben, Lincoln, and Cormac! I’m so happy this year worked out for another session, and I just loved getting to meet mister Cormac! It is always such an absolute pleasure getting to work with you all and document your beautiful family! Cheers to you all! Here’s to many more Montana visits in the future! :)
