No, not a photo of me (thank goodness!), but one of the photos I shot for the Missoula County DUI Task Force. Remember a few months back when I was hired by the Century Council to photograph their grand announcement of Cops in Shops in Montana? (See this blog post to read about it.) I made several images for them of a local Missoula cop getting tough on alcohol in a grocery store.
And now, it’s up on a billboard! Pretty cool! I can’t get over just how large that photo is. I actually saw it after shooting a short and very sweet wedding at the Gibson Mansion. (Congratulations Stacey and Bryan!) They had a lovely ceremony and are such a nice couple and family. I can’t wait to post a few of my favorite pictures from their day.
But for now, I’ll leave you with billboard photos:
If you want to check it out yourself, the billboard is near the Stephens Ave. and SW Higgins intersection, right around Romeo’s Italian Kitchen and near Pattee Creek Market.
Cheers,
-Kristine

oh wow!
so cool!
and the fact that they credited you right there on the billboards is unheard of!
way to go, kristine ;)
Wow, brilliant, that’s the biggest byline I’ve seen!
Thanks, Alice! They were super nice to give me credit – I asked and they were happy to do so. :)
Tom – thanks! Yeah, I was surprised how big it was! Very happy about it!
Nice, Kristine! Also, no one else could make a picture of a billboard look this good!
Congrats Kristine!!! I can’t wait to get married so I can fly you to WI and have you take my pics! ;)
Very cool, that is very close to my house. I drive by it at least 5 times a day!
Congratulations, Kristine. That is a beautiful acknowledgment of your good work! I’m still thinking about those pink blossoms on the tree and wonder if they may be Hawthorns? They are blooming now here in Greenacres and they are truly beautiful. G&G
Bern – awww, you’re so sweet – thanks!
Tanya – I want to take your wedding pics, too! :)
Monica – thank you!
G&G – Thanks! You know, I’m pretty sure those pink blossoms belong to a flowering plum bush. I saw one at the greenhouse the other day. I love them so much – wish I could plant one of my own!
I was just hired to do a billboard as well and am scared to death! Can you share what and how you shot these? They look great!
Jen – sure thing. Check your e-mail. :)
