It was one heck of a snowy, cold day for Megan's family's photo session - but seriously. It was downright gorgeous. I mean....what better than fluffy, white snow and lovely smiling faces? Megan and her husband braved the cold temps (since they were visiting Missoula from a warm 75 degree Arizona), and even though we were all a bit on the chilly side, we had a great time walking through this winter wonderland. Skips and Smiles – {The Hand Family’s Missoula Family Session}
I had such a nice time meeting the Hand family the other day for the sweet family session - they were gifted the session by Brian's sister, and I had such a great time making these images for them. Thanksgiving Family Fun! – {Western Montana Family Portraits}
So....I'm not sure there's anything better than meeting past bride's and groom's adorable little babies - and that certainly was the case when I met up with Nicole, Jason, their twin babies Walker and Gia, and Nicole's sister and brother and their families for their Thanksgiving get-together outside of Missoula, at the ranch Nicole and Jason celebrated their wedding day. A Fall Family – {The Pestel Family’s Missoula Portrait Session}
I had the pleasure of meeting up with Theresa, Nic, their adorable kiddos, Zilya and Nolan, and their dog Hannah. It couldn't have been a more stunning autumn day to traipse about town taking advantage of all the gorgeous colors we could come across. Sweet Baby Boy – {Theodore’s Missoula Newborn Session}
I met up with Nicole, Ryan and their new baby boy, Theodore, a while back to document their new family together - dogs included! We had such a great time, and Ted was such a good little guy for his parents - he slept like a champ and when he did decide to wake up a bit, he made all sorts of adorable little faces for us. Golden Fields and Great Smiles – {The Morrison Family’s Portrait Session}
I'm just going to come out and say it. The Morrison family is cool. As in - they are downright AWESOME. We had such a great time during their family session - laughing, walking all over the place and just really enjoying ourselves. The girls are about to jet off to the other side of the country to pursue school at Harvard and also in New Hampshire, so they decided to get some nice family photos of all of them. Summer Mornings – {Family Reunion at Montana Paws Up Resort}
It was a bright, sunshiny day when I met up with these three families to make some reunion portraits of them all together, enjoying Montana at Paws Up Resort. The boys were adorable in their blazers, and had a great time showing me butterflies they had caught, and demonstrating their best jumping moves. And all hands came together amongst tree rings to highlight the multiple generations - from little hands to bigger hands. Swaddles and Sweetness – {Marshall’s Newborn Session}
It was such a treat to meet up with Sierra, David and their new baby boy, Marshall, to make some newborn photos of their darling little guy. Marshall was such a sweetie, and was extra good for his turn in front of the camera. Skipping, Laughter and Lovely Light – {The Bertrands’ Paws Up Family Session}
I joined the Bertrand family at the Paws Up Ranch just outside of Missoula for a little trek across the grounds to make some family photos for them while they were visiting Montana from Georgia. And I've got to say - what a blast! We had so much fun - from stick races in the river, to the boys leaping over one another to a family skipping session - it was, hands down, awesome! Splish Splashing! – {The Chandler’s Flathead Lake Family Session}
Could there be anything better than spending time on Flathead Lake? I'm pretty sure that the lake is a recipe for paradise. And the Chandler family enjoys a piece of this every summer at their family's Flathead Lake cabin. I met up with them there to document their 7-month-old daughter, Marianne's, first time at the lake, and make some fun images of them hanging out and doing their thing.
