I am a self-professed color, texture and light addict. So when I got to really emphasize these three favorite things in my photos with Healy, Holly and Carson, I was pretty darn stoked. Yellow, BAM! Purple red and black, BAM! Groovy corrugated metal, BAM BAM! Pretty light, OH MY! Suffice it to say that I was one happy photographer. Not to mention that all three of them were so much fun to work with - what a great day! Thanks H, H and C - way to work it for the camera! ;) On the docket: senior portraits! Cheers, -Kristine ...

Skipping in the Sunshine – {Jessica’s Missoula Model Session}
It was a lovely December day to meet up with Jessica for her model session - and the sun even peeked out for us, too! We had a great time making these images, and even though it was sometimes difficult for Jessica to keep her eyes open in such bright sunlight, she was beyond fantastic. And it was so worth it - I mean - seriously. Look at her eyes in the light...they're incredible! Thanks again, Jessica, for doing such a fabulous job on your shoot! What a wonderful time! :) And first, a little "promo" video of sorts for her - let's just say we had a lot of fun on this shoot. :) On the docket: portraits! Stay ...

Hitting the Books with Style – {Karlee’s Missoula Model Session}
I joined Karlee the other day for a fun little "back to school" shoot for RMEA. She did such a great job, and we even managed to catch some of the sweet evening light we've been getting what with all the smoke in the air (yes, that orange colored glow is from the smoky evening sun). Karlee was so much fun to work with - she's just got the most gorgeous eyes, such a sweet smile, and even laughs at me when I'm being a complete goof. ;) Thanks again Karlee for being so awesome! The shoot was a blast! On the docket: portraits, weddings and more portraits! Don't miss them! Cheers, -Kristine ...
Fierce, Fashion-Forward, and Fun! – {Padee’s Missoula Senior Session}
When Padee first contacted me about doing her senior photos, she was BEYOND excited for her time to shine - which is one of my absolute favorite things ever. EVER. I thrive on excitement and fun personalities, and I knew we'd have a blast on her shoot - which we did - she just rocked it! This young lady has got a great sense of style, poise, and such a sweet smile! We had so much fun trekking around from spot to spot and giggling all the way. Padee is a 2013 senior at Big Sky High School in Missoula, and loves choir and drama, and wants to pursue pediatric nursing. I can tell she's going to go far with her confidence and great personality. :) ...
Wind in Her Hair – {Maddy’s Missoula Model Session}
Maddy and I did a little shoot for her portfolio with RMEA before she's about to launch off and start working with Ford models. And may I say - Maddy just rocked it! And the wind, even though it was at times a bit blustery, was definitely on our side for these photos. What a gorgeous girl and so much fun to photograph! Way to be, Maddy! And good luck with Ford! :) On the docket: portraits and weddings! And if you're a senior and haven't booked your session, now's the time to do it before your yearbook deadline! Cheers, -Kristine ...

Teal Jeans and Tall Boots – {Brianca and Kallista’s Missoula Fashion Session}
So it kind of feels like it's been raining forever here in Missoula. Which, even though it can irk me, I'm thankful for, since hopefully it keeps the fires at bay over the summer. However, Brianca, Kallista and I lucked out that the sun graced us with its presence during their model session in Missoula for the Rocky Mountain Entertainment Agency - and we had a great time! These young ladies were fabulous, fun to photograph and very sweet. Thanks for "workin' it," girls! You were great! On the docket: weddings, portraits, weddings and more portraits! By the way, now's the time to book your senior session with me if you haven't already ...
Raw Emotion – {Joelle’s Missoula Fashion Shoot}
This shoot was all about drama drama drama - in a good way. I knew going into this that I wanted it to feel dark, dramatic and raw, and that I'd be shooting for black and white. So we styled Joelle very casually, and got all dark and smudgy with her makeup to really add to the drama of the photos. This is pretty different from what I usually shoot - which is very happy, bright, and full of color. I wanted to go in the total opposite direction with these photographs and capture the vulnerability of someone who's feeling sadness, curled into themselves and just letting go. Because I couldn't go all sad and dark with every shot (I'm a super ...
