I had the pleasure of meeting up with Travis and Siobhan for their beautiful, wintery engagement session, my first of 2011! It couldn't have been a prettier day - fluffy snowflakes falling, all the trees draped in white, creeks gurgling. Simply gorgeous. And these two outshone this beauty with their own radiant smiles and laughter. Thanks so much for braving the chilly weather, Siobhan and Travis! I am so excited to photograph your wedding this summer! On the docket: senior sessions and more! Cheers, -Kristine ...
Happy New Year, All! – {Thanks for a great 2010!}
Can you believe that 2011 is a matter of hours away? I can't really wrap my mind around it - 2010 flew by in a flurry of wonderful experiences, including so many memorable photo sessions and weddings. I wouldn't be as happy with life and my work if it weren't for all of my fantastic clients (seriously, you all are WONDERFUL), business friends and supporters of my work. I'm always so grateful and humbled that you choose me to document the moments in your lives - it means more to me than you may know. To celebrate the awesomeness that is YOU, I put together a collage of some of my favorite images from 2010 - can you find yourself or ...

Rockin’ Recessionistas – {YWCA Missoula Fashion Shoot}
I had such a fabulous time the past several days volunteering my photography for YWCA's Secret Seconds 2011 Recessionista campaign. The models totally rocked their shoots as well as the Secret Seconds clothing they were showcasing, we all had a blast and made some great images to help promote an extremely worthy cause. You can grab some affordable styles and make a difference, too - all sales at YWCA Secret Seconds help women and children in crisis, including the YWCA's domestic violence shelter. Thanks ladies! Kisses Over Cookies – {Graham and Jennie’s Engagement Session}
I met Graham and Jennie at their home for a super fun, incredibly adorable engagement session! We had been planning on more of an outdoor shoot, but, as you Montanans may have noticed, the temperatures outside have been a *wee* bit frigid. So, next best thing - baking cookies together (plus a few quick shots outside, too). Thanks for being so much fun to work with, you two! (And for sharing some of your cookies - yum!) Happy Halloween! – {Missoula Trick-or-Treater Portraits}
Halloween is one of my absolute favorite, FAVORITE holidays. As a kid, my brother, friends and I would always get all decked out in crazy costumes (Pippi Longstocking, penguins, Cheshire cats, you name it), ready to brave the chilly autumn weather for that forbidden pleasure: CANDY. I thought it would be fun to set up a photo booth of sorts for the trick-or-treaters stopping by my place last night. And we had a blast! Thanks to all the kiddos, teens and parents for having some photo fun! And now...drum roll please...the photos! P.S. I found a pair of nice gloves in my lawn last evening. If you're missing a pair, please call or e-mail ...
Mother and Daughter Beneath the Big Sky – {Close Family Portraits}
I met up with the Close family the other day to make some mother-daughter portraits in Missoula, as well as a few with their English Mastiff, Penny. These two lovely ladies were radiant in front of the camera, their smiles glowing and laughter abundant. Thanks again for such a great session, ladies!
