So....I'm not sure there's anything better than meeting past bride's and groom's adorable little babies - and that certainly was the case when I met up with Nicole, Jason, their twin babies Walker and Gia, and Nicole's sister and brother and their families for their Thanksgiving get-together outside of Missoula, at the ranch Nicole and Jason celebrated their wedding day. (You might recognize Nicole and Jason from the cover of the Brides and Grooms magazine a few years back.) It was so nice to see everyone again and meet such sweet little bundles of cute! We all had a great time being goofy for the babies and walking around the ranch a bit ...
Laughter and Snowflakes – {Sentinel High School, Class of 2013 Senior, Shayla}
It was one frigid day when Shayla and I met up to make her senior pictures - gorgeous, but cold! We dodged snowflakes like nobody's business and ducked into buildings to get warm, but you wouldn't know it from Shayla's cheerful smile, bright eyes, and infectious laughter. We giggled and talked and I learned that Shayla loves to laugh (but we had already figured that out ;) ), is a huge fan of bright colors and really enjoys math, music and photography. She's thinking about going to Montana State and is contemplating studying Psychology or Zoology. Shayla, congrats again on your senior year! With your positive attitude, you're going to ...

Autumn Love – {Lindsay and Paul’s Missoula Engagement Session}
Lindsay and Paul are so great - we had such a good time wandering around through the beautiful landscape that Montana provides us, soaking in the saturated autumn colors and laughing a lot. Lindsay and Paul are big fans of the outdoors and like to go camping whenever their schedules allow, so this fall session was just perfect for them. They braved the chilly air, and, well - see for yourselves - I think they might just kinda love one another. :) Congratulations again on your engagement, you two! A Walk Through the Woods – {Chelsey and Marc’s Missoula Engagement Session}
It was a brisk autumn day when I met up with Chelsey, Marc and their two sweet dogs, Hara and Qull. And it couldn't have been a prettier day to make some engagement photos of everyone together. We had a great time traipsing through the woods, watching "the girls" bound through fields, wade through streams, and perk their ears up at the mention of the ever-elusive squirrels. Marc and Chelsey were in their element, too - they love tall trees and trails since they are both runners and appreciate the natural beauty that surrounds us. And their love for one another is pretty beautiful too. Congrats again, Chelsey and Marc! It was so great to ...

The Autumn Leaves of Red and Gold – {Kristi and Derek’s Missoula Wedding}
The first time I met Kristi and Derek was in St. Paul, Minnesota, after chatting with Kristi on the phone. I was in the area, and we thought it'd be great to get together at a local restaurant (Cafe Latte, for any of you midwesterners out there - one of my old haunts from when I lived in the twin cities), and it was so nice chatting with them over dinner and getting to know one another, and I knew we'd have a great time together at their wedding. Which of course we did! The day started out a bit smoky, but much to Kristi's delight, it cleared up and made way for a pretty darn awesome backdrop for their wonderful ceremony. Missoula Mayor ...
