One of my favorite parts of photographing portrait sessions is when the idea behind it is unique - and Caroline's girls weekend at The Resort at Paws Up in Montana was definitely that! She and a group of her best friends from all over the country (all businesswomen and mothers) decided to meet up in Montana at Paws Up to celebrate Caroline's birthday and treat themselves - which I think is such a fantastic thing to do! Summer Mornings – {Family Reunion at Montana Paws Up Resort}
It was a bright, sunshiny day when I met up with these three families to make some reunion portraits of them all together, enjoying Montana at Paws Up Resort. The boys were adorable in their blazers, and had a great time showing me butterflies they had caught, and demonstrating their best jumping moves. And all hands came together amongst tree rings to highlight the multiple generations - from little hands to bigger hands. Skipping, Laughter and Lovely Light – {The Bertrands’ Paws Up Family Session}
I joined the Bertrand family at the Paws Up Ranch just outside of Missoula for a little trek across the grounds to make some family photos for them while they were visiting Montana from Georgia. And I've got to say - what a blast! We had so much fun - from stick races in the river, to the boys leaping over one another to a family skipping sessionĀ - it was, hands down, awesome!
