I had the pleasure of meeting up with Theresa, Nic, their adorable kiddos, Zilya and Nolan, and their dog Hannah. It couldn't have been a more stunning autumn day to traipse about town taking advantage of all the gorgeous colors we could come across. Zilya and Nolan had an especially great time showing me their expertise at tossing leaves and we all got in a lot of giggles throughout our session. Thank you again, Pestel family, for having me create these portraits for you - it was so lovely meeting such a beautiful, happy family! :) On the docket: portraits, weddings and more portraits! Cheers, -Kristine ...
Autumn Love – {Lindsay and Paul’s Missoula Engagement Session}
Lindsay and Paul are so great - we had such a good time wandering around through the beautiful landscape that Montana provides us, soaking in the saturated autumn colors and laughing a lot. Lindsay and Paul are big fans of the outdoors and like to go camping whenever their schedules allow, so this fall session was just perfect for them. They braved the chilly air, and, well - see for yourselves - I think they might just kinda love one another. :) Congratulations again on your engagement, you two! Can't wait to photograph your autumn wedding next year! On the docket: portraits and, soon, more weddings! Cheers, -Kristine ...
A Walk Through the Woods – {Chelsey and Marc’s Missoula Engagement Session}
It was a brisk autumn day when I met up with Chelsey, Marc and their two sweet dogs, Hara and Qull. And it couldn't have been a prettier day to make some engagement photos of everyone together. We had a great time traipsing through the woods, watching "the girls" bound through fields, wade through streams, and perk their ears up at the mention of the ever-elusive squirrels. Marc and Chelsey were in their element, too - they love tall trees and trails since they are both runners and appreciate the natural beauty that surrounds us. And their love for one another is pretty beautiful too. Congrats again, Chelsey and Marc! It was so great to ...
Time to Cheer! – {Hellgate High School Cheerleaders’ Team Photos}
I had a great time meeting up with the JV and Varsity cheer squads from Hellgate High School the other day to make some team and individual photos for them. They were great! Their stunts looked superb, and these young ladies were super sweet to work with. The following is just a sampling from our time together. Happy cheering, ladies! On the docket: portraits, portraits and more portraits! Cheers, -Kristine ...
Pretty in Pink – {Cheyenne’s Missoula Boudoir Session}
So, I'm going to just say it - Cheyenne flat out rocked her boudoir session. She was so much fun to work with and was full of laughter, killer eye-gazes and downright awesomeness. Even more awesome? She did this for herself as a birthday present! LOVE it! Cheyenne, I absolutely adored your session, and thank you so much for being willing to share your images on my blog - you just owned it, and I'm so happy to have been able to make these photos for you! Happy, happy birthday, pretty lady! :) On the docket: portraits, portraits, portraits! Cheers, -Kristine ...
Kisses Along the River – {Amy and Derek’s Missoula Engagement Session}
It was a bit of a smoky day for Amy and Derek's engagement session, but as bothersome as the smoke can be sometimes, it really made for some pretty sweet light to highlight these two lovebirds. Amy and Derek are so perfect together - they are both originally from California, but adore Montana - and Amy really wanted to have her engagement photos done here. So we traipsed around, admiring the beauty of our surroundings, and had a great time making these images. Amy and Derek are such an adorable couple, and their eyes just light up for one another, which is something that makes my photographer heart very happy to see. :) Congratulations again, ...
Sweet Baby Boy – {Theodore’s Missoula Newborn Session}
I met up with Nicole, Ryan and their new baby boy, Theodore, a while back to document their new family together - dogs included! We had such a great time, and Ted was such a good little guy for his parents - he slept like a champ and when he did decide to wake up a bit, he made all sorts of adorable little faces for us. Thank you again for having me capture such sweet moments between all of you - it was an absolute pleasure! And congratulations again on your new addition! :) On the docket: portraits, weddings and more portraits! Cheers! -Kristine ...
Hitting the Books with Style – {Karlee’s Missoula Model Session}
I joined Karlee the other day for a fun little "back to school" shoot for RMEA. She did such a great job, and we even managed to catch some of the sweet evening light we've been getting what with all the smoke in the air (yes, that orange colored glow is from the smoky evening sun). Karlee was so much fun to work with - she's just got the most gorgeous eyes, such a sweet smile, and even laughs at me when I'm being a complete goof. ;) Thanks again Karlee for being so awesome! The shoot was a blast! On the docket: portraits, weddings and more portraits! Don't miss them! Cheers, -Kristine ...
Brown-Eyed Girl – {Val’s Missoula Senior Pictures}
It was a ridiculously smoky day when Val and I met up for her senior pictures - however, that didn't stop us for one second. And Val seriously rocked her images to celebrate her class of 2013 status. As did her horse, Stitch. These two are so sweet together - he kept nuzzling her, and was a trooper even when he wanted to eat the yummy grass instead of looking at the camera. Val has been riding English-style since she was a young girl, and hopes to pursue a degree in equine veterinary medicine after graduating from Loyala High School. She's definitely got the magic touch with horses, so I'm sure she'll be a great vet! Here's to a fab ...
Kicking up their Heels – {Maureen and Casey’s Missoula Wedding}
Maureen and Casey's wedding was full of lots of laughter, smiles and beautiful emotion. From the moment I met up with Maureen as she was getting ready, all the way until folks were dancing into the night, it was good, happy vibes all around. Maureen walked down the aisle to music from a string quartet and the two pledged their love to one another, voices full of emotion, as friends and family beamed from their seats. They made their grand entrance to their reception in a gleaming old car that they drove from the church, shiny cans clattering behind them, letting all of Missoula know they were just married. Guests were treated to a ...
